Cambridge’s Little Thinkers Kindergarten project was drastically disrupted by COVID lockdowns, which caused demanding circumstances for the main contractors, Construction Advantage. When Sam and the team approached us with an accelerated delivery programme starting in July 2020, due for completion by 1 December the same year, we took the challenge head-on. We were commissioned to manufacture several large-scale sliding doors and raking overlights off the plans. Despite supply issues and COVID delays, the DuCo team were able to work within the project’s tight timeframe, and to the entire construction team’s credit, the kindergarten opened its doors on time.
